Unemployment for District 13 still expectionally high

According to the recent Alabama Department of Industrial Relations report, Alabama’s unemployment rate remained unchanged at 11.1% in February.

For District 13. unemployment remains exceptionally high. Here are the county rates with map:

Cherokee: 11.2%

Cleburne: 10.1%

Clay: 17.7%

Chambers: 18.1%

Randolph: 15.7%

Lee: 9.5%

It is long past time that Alabama state agencies took action for rural Alabama. The old play book is definitely not working. Look at the map below. Is it just me or is Alabama the overwhelmingly most solid red-maroon state in the nation?  No one else really competes with us.
