Accurate census affects your pocket book and ballot box

According to this article, we should begin receiving census forms soon. In 2000, only 66% of the Alabama population responded.  Information you provide is protected by privacy rules. It is important for Alabamians to respond.

Stacy Gimbel of the census public affairs office said the number of people who complete the forms will determine how $400 billion in federal monies will be distributed over the next 10 years, as well as how many U.S. representatives will represent Alabama.
